Bolivar Flats RV Park Rules
The following rules are general and basic and effective immediately. We have the right to remove anyone from the property at any time, for any reason. Rules and regulations may be adjusted by the management as needed without notice. Current rules will be available on our website and posted at the Park.
- Check-in time is 2 PM; Check-out time is Noon.
- Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM.
- 2 vehicle limit on each site plus your RV.
- All vehicles including RV must have current
registration, inspections, and license plates and must be in operational
condition. RV must have self-contained and operational electrical,
plumbing, and septic systems.
- Pets must be on a leash and with their owner at all
times when outside.
Deposits and Payments
- A deposit is required for reservations. Cancellations
must be requested more than 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival date in
order to receive a deposit refund. Cancellations are subject to a $10
processing fee. No refunds on early
departures.
- Full payment is due upon move in for daily and weekly
guests.
- Monthly guests shall pay one month’s rental, as well as
a $75 refundable deposit for electricity. The first month’s fee may be
prorated for the remainder of the current month. Monthly guests shall be
billed for electricity each month at the then current rate. Fees are due
on the first day of each month or when billed. A late fee of $15 will be
assessed for each day after the 3rd day of the month. Nonpayment
of rents and fees on or before the 15th of the month is cause
for eviction.
RV and Personal Vehicles
- 1 RV and 2 personal vehicles are allowed per site. Maximum
guests per site are 6 for daily and weekly guests. Maximum guests for
monthly sites are 4.
- All vehicles including RV must have current registration,
inspections, and license plates.
- All vehicles must be in operational condition. RVs must
be self-contained, with operational electric, sanitation, and plumbing
systems.
- No RV deemed to be in “poor” condition (e.g., broken or
cracked windows, flat tires, rusted, badly dented, or in need of paint)
will be allowed to remain in the Park.
- No type of mechanical repair, whether to vehicle or RV,
is allowed without approval.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any RV based
upon its appearance and/or condition.
Pet
Rules:
- Pets must be on a leash and with their owner at all
times when outside – no exceptions.
- Pets cannot be tied outdoors
and left unattended and owners MUST pick up after their pet. Do not allow
pets to “visit” other sites to do their business. Uncontrolled barking of
dogs, when left inside alone, will not be allowed. Use of the dog park is
at the risk of the pet owner.
Utilities:
- Please use a water pressure regulator on your RV. The
park is not responsible for any damages arising from excess pressure.
- Do not remove the anti-siphon device on the Park water
faucet.
- When connecting to the sewer system, law requires that
a sewer hose must be fastened using a threaded connector or rubber donut.
When not connected to the sewer, the cap must be secured on the park sewer
connection. When checking out, be certain the cap is secured.
- No chemicals, grease, towels, plastics, disposable
wipes, etc., are to be put in the sewer. Gray water cannot be discharged
on the park grounds.
- Management suggests tenant provide their own 30/50 amp
GFCI receptacle to protect their RV; if tenant chooses not to, tenant
releases Bolivar Flats RV Park and any of its representatives from all
liability for any damages.
- Report any problems or damage to park utilities
immediately.
- No tampering with the electrical boxes. Notify
management if there is a problem.
General
Rules:

Large steps or porches of any size must
be approved by the management.
- No digging or erecting poles without approval of the
management (including satellite dishes).
- Please put only household garbage in dumpsters.
- Hazardous materials or foreign chemicals, including any
kind of grease, cleaners, paint thinners, batteries shall be discarded
properly and not anywhere on property.
- Outdoor items should be neat and orderly. Items other
than typical patio furniture may need approval from management. No
property shall be placed on the grass areas around the RV.
Emergencies:
- Call 911 for any emergencies.
- Guests must immediately obey any evacuation orders
issued by Galveston County.
- Beware that in the event of flooding, electricity will
shut off automatically.
- Any additional questions or concerns should be directed
to the management.
Bolivar Flats RV Park and management is not responsible for
loss or damage to any guest’s property due to theft, vandalism, fire, flood, accidents
or any other casualty or act of God. Guests expressly assume all risk of such
loss or damage and are responsible for carrying his or her own insurance. In
addition, damages of any kind caused by guests or visitors of the park shall be
billed to, and the responsibility of the guest.
